Hail. Hail. More hail.
Yep! Chasing has been fun this year! Sunday had almost the whole team out in kansas where there were tornadoes and thunderstorms, muddy roads and lots of hail! if you follow this kind of thing, we are aware of several chase teams that got speeding tickets over the weekend- another sign that there is still a real problem out there we all need to be very aware of.
We lost another windshield on Zephyros over the weekend and then ran the Tracking Center up north all night last night. The storm that hit the Imperial, Nebraska area early this morning around 2 am left hail drifts that were still there at 7:30 am!
We could be looking at some more action next week, but we're getting ready for that photo shoot as well so stay tuned and we'll keep you informed!
