Updates

With a storm chase almost day monitoring hail and high winds, the team has been very busy.

In less than a week we start the 500 4 Life Campaign, a 4 month tour of 500 severe weather safety presentations spread over 7 states! What a summer!

Veritus Pictures of Canada will be here the first week of August to finish shooting "Chasing With Heart"

Dorothy is almost ready to ship to the Sci-Tech Children's Museum in Aurora, Illinois. This has been a massive project and if you would like to help us get her there, please contact us at info!chasing4life.org. Donations would be greatly appreciated to assist us in off-setting the costs of rebuilding here, shipping her and covering the cost of travel.

Make sure you check the Chase Team calendar on the main website so you can come out and visit us as we tour this fall!

The team has made a change from television to radio as the team's partnership with KHAS TV ended in July and the team is now broadcasting live to KRVN Radio and the Rural Radio Network. We are excited about this new development which we feel is going to allow us to focus on research and reporting more than video and "the chase" aspects.

Team members Pete McConnell and Jeff Crecelius have left the Chasing4Life Team as the team made the change over to Rural Radio Network so that they could take SevereWXChaser to a new level and the two have become the new KHAS TV StormChase Team! We wish them the very best of luck and are happy to see Pete and Jeff get the position they desired. When we met with KHAS TV we shared with the management at the station that we felt the two were best suited to replace Chasing4Life in this position as a responsible chase team suited for television and we are glad the decision was made by the station to follow that recommendation.

Are you following the team's Twitter? You can actually follow along during stormchases! It is awesome!
